OVERVIEW
Tazewell Bingo Center is a long-standing, community-focused bingo hall that caters primarily to a local, older audience. Before this project, their digital presence was quite limited, relying solely on Facebook and a monthly paper newsletter. As a result, players often struggled to stay informed about upcoming events. The Facebook posts mainly featured snapshots of jackpot boards, with little design or consistency.
To address these issues, I spearheaded a digital refresh aimed at enhancing clarity and accessibility, and at creating a welcoming online voice. This involved designing new social media templates for daily jackpots, Festival Monday, and the Early Bird Festival, along with updating their website to provide players with a seamless experience when learning about TBC. Additionally, I launched an email newsletter that currently reaches 66 subscribers and consistently boasts open rates above 35%, helping keep the community engaged and informed.
We also introduced branding elements, such as a new social media favicon, reinforcing a consistent, professional identity across all channels. The result is a digital presence that reflects the comfort, connection, and trust of the in-person experience while providing the community with a more engaging, accessible way to stay up to date on daily and monthly events.
