OVERVIEW
The Great Disconnect is a design-led project that explores how constant internet and social media use is reshaping attention, emotional regulation, and connection—particularly for younger generations. The project responds to the growing gap between digital consumption and real-world engagement.
I developed this project as both a creative and educational tool, combining research-informed content with approachable visual design. The work translates complex psychological concepts into accessible language and interactive elements meant to encourage reflection, offline engagement, and healthier digital habits.
The project includes a structured workbook format designed for use in group or educational settings, with activities that promote awareness, conversation, and intentional screen use. The Great Disconnect prioritizes clarity, empathy, and usability, using design to support learning rather than overwhelm it.
